Hank cannot be asked to make all of those quality saves - though most of the good shots he saw clearly. The Blue shirts have to go to the front of the net and get some ugly goals. And finally, is there a less knowledgeable fan base than Washington? All they needed was some thunder sticks.Atlanta Roofinghttp://www.yelp.com/biz/atlanta-roofing-resources-atlantanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971098.post-70836034303490979862011-04-14T11:23:09.581-04:002011-04-14T11:23:09.581-04:00I was doing fine until I visualized what a prickly...I was doing fine until I visualized what a prickly little sh*t would feel like.

ow, OW, ow.

I certainly liked the quality of the Caps chances in Game 1, and it's nice to see the "costly post-season mistake" haunt the other team for a change.SuzukiSandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11679237671932111254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971098.post-15386749781558922322011-04-14T08:54:08.984-04:002011-04-14T08:54:08.984-04:00Late in the third period last night, I noticed tha...Late in the third period last night, I noticed that the Rangers were sucking wind big-time and after the first couple of minutes of OT, it looked as if the Rangers were totally and completely out of gas.

Also of note, their top defensive pair, Dan Girardi and Marc Staal were both -2 for the game. The 32:50 and 33:48 respectively (of a game that went 78:24) of ice time probably had something to do with that.

No other skater last night came close to 30 minutes. Nick Backstrom led the Caps with 28:56 and Scott Hannan was right behind with 28:39.Caps Nuthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16339054012239423282noreply@blogger.com
