Carlson clearly got beat by Byfuglien, saw clearly what Buff did to Neuvy, but instead of going after him & standing up for his teammate, skated away like he didn't want to get involved. This has nothing to do with being a rookie and everything to do with letting someone else do the dirty work. Carlson should have been all over him first & foremost.
