I agree, this group should now have enough playoff experience to do a lot more damage than they have done to date. The Peerlesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10293195514553989436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971098.post-75107360300815097712010-08-06T12:01:46.794-04:002010-08-06T12:01:46.794-04:00Very helpful analysis. According to Caps web site, he was acquired in Sept. 2006 as a free agent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971098.post-50778954418950283542010-08-06T09:03:46.177-04:002010-08-06T09:03:46.177-04:00Another interesting thing to me is the last column...Another interesting thing to me is the last column in the third chart - only 6 guys currently with the team have suited up for every playoff game the last 3 years (I believe a 7th just signed with Buffalo) and that group includes every member of the team's "core." They should be well along on the playoff learning curve at this point.MemphisRaineshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12062943782623857325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14971098.post-50137847379648873092010-08-06T08:43:12.212-04:002010-08-06T08:43:12.212-04:00Amidst the playoff disappointments in the past few...Amidst the playoff disappointments in the past few years, I have had this same feeling but lacked a way to express it. You have done a great job of that, it keeps the ever-important perspective on where our club stands.

After reading Andrew Gordons blog post today on RMNB, it makes me realize how much sweeter winning a Cup will feel knowing that everyone in the organization (players, coaches, GM's Owners, fans, etc) have put in the appropriate time and experience gained to recognize and appreciate the glory and rarity in hoisting the Cup.
