I am always telling my 12 year old to look at the "Big Picture" instead of focusing only on the here and now, but for many people that is hard to do. It is especially hard in sports, for both fans and, frequently and unfortunately, it seems for owners as well. <br /><br />Sitting in Verizon Center down 5-0 in period 2 of Game 7, knowing we had a long, dry summer off season and another grueling 82-game regular season to go through before getting another chance was oh so painful, but I believe that this organization has finally taken the long view, and that it will pay off. <br /><br />The core is in place. The farm organization is in place.
