We're feeling under the weather this morning (maybe it was a result of watching that game last night), so you folks can have at it.
What's the problem?...
- Have the Caps hit a "wall?"
- Have they achieved their high water mark?
- Is this merely a speed bump on the way to a division crown?
- Are injuries finally taking their toll?
...that's 1-2-1 in their last four games, during which they've scored eight goals (wasting decent, if at times uneven, goaltending...nine goals -- not counting last night's empty netter -- in these four games). They have the worst last-ten game record among SE division teams (5-4-1). And, after starting 6-1-1 in the SE under Bruce Boudreau, they are now 0-3-1 in their last four intra-divisional games.
Time to panic?...hardly. But with 23 games to go, this is not the time to be embarking on a slump, either.
