The Big Questions

The draft is only a couple of days away, but who the Caps might select is not the only question on fans' minds. There are players without contracts who must be re-signed or allowed to depart. We consult the great oracle -- the Magic 8-ball -- to ponder these matters. Oh, wise and powerful 8-ball...



Will the Caps re-sign Sergei Fedorov?




Will the Caps re-sign Mike Green?




Will the Caps re-sign Cristobal Huet?




Will the Caps re-sign Eric Fehr?





Will the Caps re-sign Boyd Gordon?




Will the Caps re-sign Brooks Laich?





Will the Caps re-sign Steve Eminger?




Will the Caps re-sign Shaone Morrisonn?




...and if I may, one last question...will Olaf Kolzig play in 2008-2009?

Here are my guesses, err, predictions:

Staying: Huet, Green, Mo, Gordon, Eminger, Fehr
Gone: Laich (that's my shocker pick)
Retiring: Kolzig, Fedorov (from the NHL, at least)
