Was that the distant rumble of thunder?

This morning's Washington Post report on last night's 4-2 loss to the Thrashers led, not with a report on the game, but with two quotes that should send shivers down Capitals fans' spines while they nod in agreement . . .

"It's not important for me, it's important for our team. We need players. We need help. We are young, that's why we need guys who have experience, guys who [have played in the] playoffs. Sometimes experience wins the game."
-- Alex Ovechkin

"We need some players who are going to make an impact. We just have to trust that ownership and management will get the players who will help us get to the next level."
-- Olaf Kolzig

We'll all be watching...closely.
