37, huh...

Alex Ovechkin is reported to have garnered 250 of 287 votes from his peers in the NHL as Sporting News Player of the Year. 37 players voted for someone else. I wonder, maybe these guys had something to do with it...

...and I can even read this guy's lips..."just say 'NO' to Ovechkin!"

...shhh. I know, Shean Donovan isn't a Flame any more.

Doesn't SN have a rule that you can't vote for a teammate? That would account for a chunk of the 37. Idiocy would account for the rest.

I know that the Pens are wearing black gloves, but from a distance, it kind of looks like Crosby & the As have their hands on the suits' knees. Not that I've got anything against intra-team love, but it looks almost as awkward as that other team picture they have...which seems to have been removed from their site...hmmmmm...
